He was detained in November 2024 and convicted under Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (Distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activity or promoting such activity), after which a criminal case was opened.

One of the oldest active editors of the Belarusian Wikipedia section and the most experienced administrator. He focused mainly on the ancient history of Belarus, but spent most of his time maintaining order in the section and moderating disputes.

The detention of Maxim Lepushenko is not the first case of recent repressions directed against authors and editors of the Belarusian Wikipedia. The detentions of several Belarusian Wikipedia administrators over several months appear to be part of a coordinated campaign, as indicated by the unfounded attacks from propagandists:
- In April, administrator Olga Sitnik (Khomelka) disappeared; she was detained twice.
- In December 2024, the editor of Stary Jolup was detained.
- In March 2025, Kazimier Lachnovič (real name unknown) disappeared - one of the four administrators of the section on Tarashkevitsa. A week after the disappearance of the administrator Kazimier Lachnovič, propaganda material by Lyudmila Gladkaya was released, in which it was said that Wikipedia is a weapon of mass destruction against the countries of the post-Soviet space, and the Belarusian section is edited from Poland.

First, Ivan was arrested for 15 days , then placed in a pretrial detention facility on a criminal case.

He was detained in early September 2024 and received two terms under administrative article 19.1. He spent about a month in the Okrestina temporary detention facility, after which a criminal case was opened for insulting Lukashenko A. and he was transferred to pretrial detention center No. 1.

Kirill was detained in January 2024. He was initially arrested for several days for “petty hooliganism,” but was then not released and a criminal case was opened.

The Curia of the Minsk-Mogilev Archdiocese published a message indicating that a canonical investigation has been launched into the facts presented in the propaganda video.

Vladislav was arrested several times for a total of 45 days under the article on the distribution of “extremist materials” (Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code), after which a criminal case was opened under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

On June 11, 2024, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.

Nastya Loiko is a well—known Belarusian human rights activist. Nastya was persecuted for her human rights activities, since August 2021 she has been a suspect in a criminal case related to the activities of the human rights organization «‎Viasna».

On September 6, 2022, after attending a court hearing on the «‎Revolutionary Action» case, Nastya was twice convicted of disorderly conduct and spent 30 days in custody. 3 weeks after her release, on 28.10.2022, Nastya was detained again. At the trial, Nastya declared torture (employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption hit her with a stun gun and left her for 8 hours without outerwear in the cold, which made her ill). In custody, Nastya is still without warm clothes and personal hygiene products.

On November 28, 2022, it became known that Nastya was sentenced again for 15 days under Article 19.1 (Petty hooliganism). For the fifth time in the fall.

In mid-December, she was detained for the 6th time under the same article, and at the end of the month she was charged under criminal articles and transferred to the pre-trial detention center-1 («SIZO-1»). According to the prosecution, one of her human rights reports on the persecution of the anarchist community in Belarus in 2018 contains a negative assessment of the illegal actions of police officers, which became the basis for initiating a criminal case against her. The group against which other social animosity was allegedly incited is a professional social group of law enforcement officers. As noted by human rights activists, such an interpretation of the article does not comply with international human rights standards, as evidenced by the practice of international judicial bodies.
